1. One that has happened today.
2. One that will happen tomorrow.
1. Chinese aren't allowed to use Facebook nor are they allowed to use Youtube (I know, sad) but a friend of mine told me about their own Youtube, namely Youku. And I wanted to watch some videos. The main video was this:
I have no idea why they were fighting since that gal is talking sooo fast. I remained dissapointed when I saw that I can't understand a thing.
But today a miracle happened! :P As I was waiting for a tram, 2 chinese guys stood exactly behind me. They were talking, and talking, and talking and I couldn't understand a thing. I was about to quit listening when I heard 红 hong, which means red, and 漂亮 piaoliang, which means beautiful. Since I'm redheaded, I had a feeling they might be talking about me but wasn't sure so I turned to look at them.
They were both looking at me and smiling and I instantly started laughing out loud and then rolling of the floor laughing (South Park S14E04 reference!). I was shocked that I could understand something and that they were talking about me, but I didn't quite want to talk in Chinese. However, I wanted to let them know I know a bit of Chinese. When one of them asked me 'How are you?' in Romanian, I started laughing even harder and took out my Chinese book. YOU CAN'T IMAGINE THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES!! :)) They were completely shocked and who knows what else they were saying about me that I wasn't supposed to hear and maybe they thought I had understood everything even though i had understood only 'red' and 'beautiful' haha!! They were shocked, I was laughing and while I started telling them in Chinese that I'm a student at the foreign language university and that this is my first year of Chinese, they didn't say a word, they were just listening and looking intensely at me. One of them asked me something back in Chinese but I couldn't understand and as I were in a hurry to catch the tram, I just told them that I'm sorry I can't talk anymore and nice to meet them, of course in Chinese.
What were the chances of them being in Romania, liking a girl on the street, saying something about her and the girl knowing Chinese?! HAHA.
I'm sorry I was laughing so hard 'cause I could've talked more and better but I just couldn't believe it!
Chinese is fun!
2. The event which is going to take place tomorrow is OK Corral presents Music @ Post-Cochet 8hrs DJ Set (ex Embryo club, Ion Oteleseanu Street No. 3)
You can listen to one of their mixes here: OK Corral - Persona Grata.
The entrance is just 10 RON, the club is nice, the music will be a sort of joyful nufunk and the DJs are going to experiment a bit! Come and see what's in their sleeves :P
I'll be waiting for you all there, as it's the last time I'm going out until the 1st of May.
Cheers everyone and 再见!

Sur meli et sur teli '09
Sooooo... I didn't crash! And it was by far the best holiday I've ever had.
Before leaving everyone was like "Don't go with your parents, it's going to suck so badly!" but I didn't listen to them. And I'm really glad I didn't.
I stayed for one week at the Surmeli hotel in Kusadasi in which I've lived more than I've ever lived in my whole life. I met a lot of cool people from England, Holland, Belgium, Iran and of course Turkey, I swum all day in like 3 different pools, I talked with all sorts of weird people, I laughed, I danced, I played a lot of ping pong, darts and archery, I went jet ski-ing, scuba diving, parasailing, I went clubbing in Kusadasi, I also had time to get a beautiful tan, I had a lot of massages and turkish baths and I went on my own almost everywhere...
After all these I felt as if it was nothing more I could do to make it THE best holiday. But on the last night, the animation team had put me down on the 'Best Couple' competition with Mike, an English guy, even though we didn't want to. Thus, I also got on stage and had to do a lot of stuff I didn't think I could EVER do in front of so many people. After the show, people I didn't talked to before were calling me "Miss Romania" in the hotel *blush*.
Every British person I've talked to told me that I speak really well english and one Irish girl even asked me from which part of England I am. Another 3 British girls kept telling me that I'm really smart and when they found out that I am going to study Chinese... Well that was the Chinese drop for them, hehe.
Regarding the water sports I have done, jet ski-ing is really fun. I kept asking what speed we were going with, but all he understood was "SPEED? you want speed?!" and VRRRRRUMMMMM there we went haha. Then he let me drive it and I was like crazy, I kept speeding and speeding and water kept splashing around us, great times. He said I'm a really crazy driver :D.
Then I went scuba diving in another hotel by myself. I met the guy I went scuba diving 3 years ago and he recognized me immediately and another guy who had seen me the night before in a club in Kuasadasi - really now, what were the odds?. They started explaining me how to breathe under water and I was like "I know, I know that, I know that too, let's just dive already!!". I went 10 metres deep, I saw an octopus *love* and made fun with Jenky about fish smoking and drinking when we saw a packet of cigars and a bottle of alcohol under water. When we got out he was amazed how quickly I had learnt so he told me that I can get a license in proffesional scuba diving in no more than 3 days and I'll be able to reach the reef point - at 18 metres. I didn't have time to take it this year, but next year I'm surely going to.
That same day I was sooooo excited about my scuba diving trip that I also went parasailing. That guy was totally hiting on me in front of my father :)) and before I got up, he told me that because I weigh so little - 35 kilos - I'm going to get higher than the others. And I did. I was above everything. The boat had 1 cm from where I was hanging :D. The weather was beautiful, it was really sunny and it was an amazing view. However, I'm quite afraid of heights so I didn't move at all. I was really scared of not falling or anything, cause about 100 metres high is quite... high!
I'm upset I didn't go with the Big Mable or the Speedy, but these are more fun if you're with friends so... I'm going to try it next year.
And another fact I loved in Turkey is that people usually gave me 19 20 years, while some romanians from there asked me if I was 12, even after the BEST COUPLE show.
I could have stayed there 6 months without missing the people around here, my computer or anything related to Romania - besides my family, friends, my dog and my cat.
All in all, it was a gorgeous holiday and I have changed quite a lot. I'm seeing everything differently. I'm going to take dancing classes, I'm going to volunteer to a lot more stuff, maybe get a job too, basically I'm going to stay less on my computer and just wander around. I'm also going to smile idiotically at everyone and everything, be more relaxed and do whatever I feel like doing - not that I didn't do this before, but now I'm talking of a different extent :P.
Anyway, I'm going to post some photos, hope you'll enjoy them, as much as I enjoyed my holiday. Oh, wait, you can't :P.

Part of the animation team: Tayfun, Kevin, me, Murat & John
The rest of them were Paris, the daily sportif, Jamal, the presentator, Katie aka Pink Lady aka The Joker, Iulia, the russian girl, the dj from Mozambic, the animation crew manager - sorry didn't quite catch his name and there were some more but unfortunately I didn't got to talking to them.

This old man was soooo cute to me. He gave me all sorts of stuff, like chocolate, turkish artifacts and face creams when I was burnt. Before I left, I took this photo with him and he gave me his adress to send it to him :). He also told me that he had a dream about me and that I'll be really happy. He also knew how to read in coffee. So many nice people in Turkey...

My face states: I'M SO HAPPY!

Next year I'm definitely going to Turkey again, but not for less than 2 weeks! I suggest everyone to go to Turkey - for either relaxing, or having fun this is one of the greatest places. I'm totally in love with the turkish eye and the turkish nargile and the turkish tea and the turkish waiters and the turkish sand and the turkish people and the turkish atmosphere... and the turkish everything!

Defense of the Ancients
I love playing DOTA.
I am writing this post for all my friends and all the people who don't understand why I play this game.
For those of you who aren't acquinted with the 'term', DOTA, also known as Defence of the Ancients, is a map designed by IceFrog for Warcraft 3. It soon became so popular that people didn't say they were playing Warcraft anymore, but Dota. Servers especially made for Dota appeared and it really is an addictive game.
I won't explain exactly how you play it as it takes a while to become a pretty good player and you won't understand it anyway.
Firstly, you must understand that dota is a GAME. People PLAY it because it is relaxing, entertaining and challenging just as a macao game or a match of fotball - although ATTENTION you may become a hooligan.
Secondly...
While some of you like reading fashion magazines that cover typical subjects and offer to you useless information, I enjoy the excitement of a new game when seeing what heroes were chosen by my team and what were the opposite's team choices.
While you like going through shops and wandering unknowingly deciding which pair of sunglasses suits you best, I like choosing items for my hero, so that I will stand heroically against my enemies - and beating the crap out of my brother and my ex-boyfriend.
While you like discussing how much of an idiot is the guy that fucked you and then left you, at a soda in the center of our city, looking for cute guys who will also fuck you and leave you, I enjoy thinking what is best to buy first, considering their price and efficiency.
While you like watching low buget stupid comedies, I like the challenge of each game and talking to people from all the corners of the earth about music, movies, books and games.

I know the last argument may get you thinking that I am a geeky person and perhaps I am, but I am still a sociable person and I am able to talk about anything else rather than dota when I go out with my un-geeky friends. However, I would rather cut my wrists wide open than talking about Gucci purses and nails for 2 hours.
My problem - if I had one, wouldn't lie in those who like doing what I mentioned above, but in those who play other life-consuming games such as WoW, Lineage, Heroes, Counter-Strike etc - cause i can go on and on giving examples - and still tackle me for playing dota.
Btw, to my fellow dota-colleagues : if I like playing with one particular guy dota, doesn't mean I have hang a poster of him on my wall, or that he is a better friend than you. It only means that I like playing with him because he is calm and relaxed even if we lose because, after all, it really is only a game.

Addicted To Games
Although i'm pretty sure no one will have the patience to read this whole post of mine - because it's gonna be long - i'm still gonna write it!
Tibi = my brother
Raluca = his girlfriend
Gemenii = my internet network
Having an older brother - 8 years older to be exact - had an impact on me in different areas. The one that i'm gonna talk about now is games. I like playing games from board and computer games to casino ones. Games, games, games!
1. I'll start with the computer ones.
Starcraft
If it weren't for Tibi, i wouldn't have started playing Starcraft at 8 or 9 years old in a thousand years - maybe because i would have been 1009 years old :)) . I saw him play and decided to try it too! I obviously started with the Original campaign, but haven't finished it. Why? Because my brother accidentally erased my saves after i had gone through a lot of difficulties trying to pass to the Protoss Campaign. What difficulties? Well, mostly emotional because i started crying each time i couldn't finish a mission. I remember going to my brother and asking him to help me but he always told me"No! You have to finish it yourself!" . Anyway, i also remember hating the missions in which you just had to walk and not die! Horrible. I usually lost.
Status: inactive - i would play it whenever but it doesn't work anymore
Quake
I didn't play it much, as I didn't and don't like shooters - except when you're playing with friends and not with bots - so i played it a bit by myself and one holiday, my brother moved my computer in his room to play it together on internet with other friends of him. I used to have a good time but after that holiday i completely forgot about it.
Status: inactive - if all the people played quake instead of cs, i would prefere playing quake
Diablo II
Haha. I still laugh when i remember how I started playing Diablo. My brother played it constantly for a while - well... as we all have - and i noticed. I was 12, I think, so I used to play Sims or Roller Coaster Tycoon in that period, but they weren't as entertaining as the game Tibi presented to me in the past - Starcraft - so I thought i could try this one too. Before the actual start of my playing, I used to sit by my brother while he played, and just click 1 2 3 4 for the potions when he needed them. When I think at it now, i find it really lame, but hey, I was quite small!
I also remember the first time my brother presented me the characters... "Here's the barbarian, the assasin, the druid - if you play with it, you'll be able to transform into a bear or a wolf at one point, the amazon, the paladin - my favourite char, the necromancer and the sorcerrer - but the last too are quite hard to play with at first". As in all games, I wanted to be a girl; the sorcerrer was too hard, I didn't like the amazon so I chose THE ASSASIN. I liked her introduction scene a lot, hehe. I think that's when my mother started telling me that I'm just like Tibi. I didn't finish the game either because I was very meticulous, not to lose any information, so 4 acts took a lot of time. I was so fond of this game, and so meticulous that I used to call Tibi, who was at te seaside, more than 10 times a day asking him if I had found an unique object that he didn't know about. Obviously I received only negative answers but didn't quite matter. I also remember reaching act 2 and being so scared by those spiders and maggots and swarms, brrr.
In the eighth grade, my network had a Diablo II server and we all played on it. I was finally able to meet and kill Baal, hehe. In the top, my brother was on the 1st and the 4th place with 2 characters while I was on the 10th. I was so proud :)). I played for quite a while, preferring obviously to play instead of learn. But soon I moved from an appartment where I had Internet and that network to a house where I didn't, and was able to concentrate on my exam - pff.
The third phase in which I was obsessed with Diablo II was in the 10th grade when Raluca, Tibi, some of his friends and myself bought the original Diablo II - not that me and my brother didn't have it before :P; the others didn't - and played on the Blizzard server. It was fun, but got bored when we all had to wait for Tibi to finish his trades - one or two hours each time we wanted to play.
Status: inactive - until the forth phase.
Diablo I
After phase 1 of Diablo II, my brother realised that I hadn't played Diablo I at all. He couldn't let that happen so he sort of obliged me to play it - not that I didn't want to play but I was sceptical about older games. However, the game got to me, and I almost finished it; I reached Diablo but couldn't kill him, damn it, although it wasn't half as scarry as THE BUTCHER! Tibi warned me that i'm gonna meet a really scarry guy and hard to kill. I was relaxed, what could possibly scare me that bad? When i reached him, though, I was terrified. Fresh Meat.
Couldn't find a Diablo I fight with the butcher but this is similar, because it's return to Diablo I from Diablo II.
Status: inactive
Heroes III
The same as in the case of Diablo II, I saw Tibi playing and didn't understand what was it with those hexagons so I started playing this game too. I played a bit of the campaign but didn't finish it. Dunno exactly why but I just didn't, although I like the game a lot. Maybe the problem is that it may take a lot of time.
Status: inactive - as in the case of Diablo II I have periods in which I play it a lot, and periods in which I don't
Warcraft III
Unfortunately, after I moved and after I entered highschool I sort of lost interest for playing games and especially for playing games by myself. I started in the 9th or 10th grade playing Warcraft, but only reached the undead campaign which I didn't finish. I still regret not finishing Warcraft but now I'm kind of busy with exams and stuff, plus, I like socialising a lot so woohoo for parties. But I promise I will one day finish it! I regret it mainly when I hear others talk about it, but if I had played Warcraft 3, I would have probably wanted to play WOW, which, although I believe it when people say that it's a great game, it's sort of life consuming :P and I do want to pass the BAC exam - except that Starcraft II is going to be released exactly when I'll be supposed to be studying for the exam so...
Status: inactive
Counter Strike
I couldn't understand at all why all the people were playing CS. I didn't like it at all, I used to find it really dull. I played a bit because everyone played it and I obviously wanted to see how it is but that was it. Until this year :)) when we all played and play it at informatics classes in school. I found it pretty fun, and soon I/we started playing it at home, with a Akype conference - if it weren't for the conference, the game would definitely lose its charm.
Status: active
Trackmania Nations (Forever)
As in the case of CS, I like to play it with friends.
Status: active
Other games
As I said earlier, I also played games such as Sims and Roller Coaster Tycoon and I presume there were more but I don't quite remember - that's the difference between a good game and a mediocre one.
I almost forgot about Supaplex, Mario and Mario Board Games, which are special games that I loved!
Games that I want/ed to play
Baldur's Gate - because my brother always praised it
Warcraft 3 - to finish it
Heroes 5 - to see the differences between H3 and H5
Final Fantasy (doesn't matter which one) - I'm really curious about it
2. Passing to a different way of playing, board and card games.
I don't think that each one needs it's own paragraph as they are already pretty known: Monopoly, Remy, Canasta, Chess, Table, Macao, Trombon, Machu Pichu, Whist, Rentz, Razboi, Septica, Popa Prostu, Toci (not a very known card game, I myself heard about it only in the 10th grade), etc.
In the summer of 2007 I played a lot of Whist, Rentz and Canasta, sometimes staying up until 10 o'clock in the morning. My mom didn't know what to do with me and my brother anymore, poor her.
I didn't quite like Chess, and I didn't play Table until the 10th grade. Don't know exactly how or why that happened. I still don't like Chess, but I'm pretty fond of Table - whatever its name in English is :P.
Status: obviously active
3. Thirdly, casino games.
Actually I'm talking more about Poker as Blackjack is only luck-based. Poker is not only a game of luck, because otherwise there wouldn't be a tourney, and there wouldn't be proffesional poker players. I started playing poker last year, when we got sooo bored of playing whist and rentz that we finally decided to buy a table and chips. At first, although I was enthusiastic about the idea of playing poker, I thought we'll never see a full, or a 4 of a kind, or a royal flush. But it got more and more interesting, and for a while we constantly played it until 4 or 5 in the morning. Lovely. We also started playing it on the internet, although it is not the same thing, as poker must be played so that you can see the opponent's face and decide whether he is bluffing or not. We also started watching poker-related shows! I know, addictive people.
Some interesting moments from the High Stakes Poker show:
A crazy hand:
Status: active
4. Games that require a table or smth: Biliards, Bowling, Hockey and Flipper - I love this game. Cool games!
Status: active
5. Games that you generally find at the seaside
The Horse Game - I don't think anyone knows what I'm talking about. You had to throw a ball into some holes and your horse was going further, the aim being winning the race :P. If you won, you had a free game, and I always used to won. My mother once got so bored that she didn't let me finish a race. I was playing for an hour and a half or so.
The Cars - the ones in which we bumped into each other.
Tir - first shooting experiences - for most of us :))
Status: inactive
All these being said... why the hell am I so bored all the time?!?
PS. I have written this post related to games because I've seen Raluca's post.
PPS. Today is my name day, cause I'm a flower, hihi.

Trackmania Nations (Forever)
As in the case of CS, I like to play it with friends.

4. Games that require a table or smth: Biliards, Bowling, Hockey and Flipper - I love this game. Cool games!

All these being said... why the hell am I so bored all the time?!?
PS. I have written this post related to games because I've seen Raluca's post.
PPS. Today is my name day, cause I'm a flower, hihi.

Apoi, va prezint o stire senzationala - Pula se integreaza in curul cantaretilor spartani -
Taranii romani din filmul Borat:
Si pentru a continua cu amuzamentul va prezint 2 parti din emisiunea lui Mircea Badea, Din gura presei, dupa parerea mea, foarte foarte amuzante!
... Formidabil!
